A shipment “BREWED” to Perfection

Dextrans Cambodia recently handled several Project Cargo Shipment consisting of several over-dimensional or out of gauge equipment from Sihanouk Port to a New Brewery Production Plant in Phnom Penh for Ankor. The whole consignment consisted of 58 mainly 40’ out of gauge flat racks with various dimensions.

The transportation route from Cambodia Port to the new Production Plant was successfully carried out inspite of many challenges viz a viz narrow and undulating roads along the way, some tilting as much as 30 degrees in elevation. Additionally, comprehensive road surveys had to be conducted to find solutions to in order to overcome height restrictions caused by overhead bridges, lamp post along roads, street road where markets congregate etc. However, Dextrans was able to overcome all these difficulties through a team of experienced and capable personnel who provided various options and solutions.

The project cargo was delivered to the final destination on time and in good condition with the onsite supervision and close communication between all parties. As the freight was organized from Italy, France, China and Philippines, detailed coordination was needed.

Our years of knowledge operating in the local environment and understanding of the customs procedures coupled with project experience and good working relationship with various stakeholders and partners ensured that Dextrans is more than capable of meeting any difficult challenges that presents its way to the great satisfaction of our valued clients.
