UN Mi-17 RESCUE & CIVILIAN HELICOPTER

Dextrans Worldwide Project was appointed to handle and ship 4 units of Rescue and Civilian Helicopter (UN Mi-17) from Senai Airport, Johor to Constanza, Romania. The 4 helicopters main body were dismantled in order to fit onto collapsible flatrack containers and the remaining were loaded in high cube containers.

Dextrans entire scope of work involves loading the flatrack containers onto special trailers equipped to accept over-height loads with a ground clearance of a few centimetres only, transporting to load port and ocean freight from Johor to Constanza port, Romania. The total shipment consists of 4 x 40 ft. Flatracks (Out of Gauge) and 6 x 40 ft. high cube containers. All these were done in clockwork precision with close communication and co-ordination with all parties including shipper, contractors, port authority and customs officials as the two helicopters were urgently required to meet client’s job schedule. A Methods Statement was drawn up with Activity based Risk Management Tool box meeting done before commencement of the entire project.

Our years of knowledge, wealth of project experience and good working relationships with our resource owners ensured that Dextrans are highly dependable to meet any urgent request to the great satisfaction of our valued clients. For projects enquiries please contact enquiry@localhost
